The Challenge
Material planning for the Thang Long project was static and based on initial estimates, while the actual construction site was dynamic and fluid. There was a critical lack of real-time linkage between site progress (velocity) and inventory levels. This disconnection led to frequent material shortages causing delays, or excess inventory leading to waste and pilferage.
- Static planning vs. dynamic site reality.
- High material waste due to over-ordering.
- Manual, delayed reconciliation of usage.
The AIQU Systems Solution
We developed a Material Intelligence Platform that integrates project schedule data with live inventory tracking. Using predictive AI, the system forecasts material demand based on actual site velocity. It also runs anomaly detection algorithms to identify discrepancies between planned usage and actual consumption in real-time.
- Dynamic planning based on site velocity.
- Early anomaly detection for leakage control.
- Automated reconciliation of plan vs. actuals.
